Over the past three years we have undertaken a few different projects in the Mbita region of Kenya. With the help of individuals and companies alike we have seen great progress, hope and new opportunities for the local residents.

Projects

Nyakwery Food Farms (NFF)
An agricultural project formed with the cooperation of universities in Kenya, the Nyakwery people and the charitable donations of companies and individuals around the world. Learn More

 


Islander Technology Center (ITC)
A non-profit community educational facility for men and women in the Mbita region of Kenya. Our goal is to provide basic computer skills, information and communication services to local residents and schools. Learn More

 

 

Island Enterprise Group Boat Project (IEG)
A transportation business venture that helped build the Nyakwery people a 55 passengers motor boat capable of making the 100 mile journey from Mfangano Island to the Kenyan mainland in about two hours. Learn More
