Periodically groups from West Michigan and other parts of the United States will be traveling to the Mbita region of Kenya to help with the many projects currently going on there. Those progress reports, images and stories will be posted here as they come in.


June 2006
Volunteers and fundraisers from West Michigan and 
World Mission will travel to Kenya for the opening of the ITC Building in MBita. They will stay approximately two weeks, helping in a variety of areas.

We helped a group of young men on Mfangano Island purchase some donkeys for use in the field work of the village farms. Read more

A group from Ada Bible Church (Ada, Michigan) travels Kenya to help construct a protective fence for the NFF Project, and takes a look at the progress on the Islander Technology Center in Mbita.

In conjunction with World Mission, we sent a group of 14 members to Mfangano Island for two weeks to perform charitable work in orphanages, distribute The Talking Bible™ and assist with construction of the Islanders Technology Center in Mbita. Photo taken January 17, 2006.
